PE Powders

PE Powders

represent a specialized form of polyethylene processed into fine particles, unlocking manufacturing methods impossible with standard pellets — most notably rotational molding and powder compounding.

Rotational Molding (Rotomolding) is the primary application. PE powder — predominantly LLDPE and HDPE grades — is loaded into a hollow mold, which rotates biaxially inside a heated oven. The powder melts and coats the mold interior uniformly, forming seamless, stress-free hollow parts upon cooling. This cost- effective process produces large, complex shapes unachievable by injection or blow molding: water and chemical storage tanks (from 10 to 50,000 liters), kayaks, playground equipment, automotive fuel tanks, agricultural containers, and industrial bins.

Rotomolding grades require carefully controlled particle size distribution, melt flow, and thermal stability to ensure uniform wall thickness, surface quality, and structural integrity.

Powder Compounds extend PE functionality through dry-blending or compounding powders with additives — UV stabilizers, colorants, flame retardants, antistatics, and reinforcing fillers. This enables precise customization for pipe coatings, cable insulation, wire coating, and specialty films.

Additional applications include powder coatings for metal surface protection, fluidized bed coating of pipelines and fittings, and masterbatch production where powder form ensures homogeneous additive dispersion.

PE powders combine design freedom, material efficiency, and processing versatility — making them indispensable wherever seamless construction, large-format parts, or highly customized material performance is required.
