mLLDPE

mLLDPE (metallocene Linear Low-Density Polyethylene) is an advancedpolymer produced using metallocene catalyst technology, enabling precise control over molecular structure.

This results in exceptional mechanical properties: superior tensile strength, outstanding puncture and tear resistance, and excellent clarity compared to conventional polyethylenes.

Its uniform molecular architecture delivers enhanced sealing performance at lower temperatures, making it highly valued in demanding packaging applications — including flexible food packaging, stretch films, heavy-duty bags, and medical packaging.

The material offers an outstanding strength-to-thickness ratio, allowingdown gauging without sacrificing performance, which reduces material consumption and supports sustainability goals.

LLDPE

(Linear Low-Density Polyethylene) is a versatile polymer widely used infilms, packaging, and flexible applications. Unlike conventional LDPE, its linear backbone with short-chain branches delivers superior toughness, puncture resistance, and elongation.

There are LL C4, LL C6, LL C8 versions popular in the market.

  • The “C4, C6, C8” designation refers to the comonomer — a secondary molecule incorporated during polymerization to create those branches.
  • Butene (C4) offers a cost-effective baseline performance;
  • Hexene (C6) improves strength, clarity, and toughness;
  • Octene (C8) delivers the highest impact resistance and flexibility, approaching mLLDPE performance levels.

Key applications include stretch and cling films, agricultural films, heavy-duty sacks, geomembranes, flexible pipes, and wire coating. Higher comonomer grades (C6, C8) are preferred where demanding mechanical performance or downgauging is required, while C4 suits standard packaging and industrial films where economy is the priority.
