Fragrances

Fragrances are complex mixtures of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) — naturals (essential oils, isolates) or synthetics (aroma chemicals) — engineered to deliver controlled olfactory profiles. Chemically, they comprise top notes (light, fast- evaporating terpenes, aldehydes), heart notes (floral esters, ketones), and base notes (heavy musks, resins, fixatives) defined by vapor pressure and evaporation rate.

Key chemical families include terpenes, esters, aldehydes, lactones, musks, and phenolics. Substantivity, stability, and compatibility with carrier matrices (polymers, oils, surfactants) govern formulation.

Polystylex offers a range of chemicals for number of applications.
