POLYSTYLEX CODE OF ETHICS

(for Clients, Suppliers and Business Partners)

PREAMBLE

POLYSTYLEX is committed to responsible and ethical business practices and expects the same standards from its clients, suppliers, contractors, and other business partners (the “Partners”).

This Code of Ethics sets out the minimum standards relating to human rights, labour conditions, health and safety, environmental protection, and business integrity.

The Code is based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the conventions and standards of the International Labour Organization (ILO), and generally recognised international principles of sustainable and ethical business conduct.

I. HUMAN RIGHTS AND LABOUR STANDARDS

1. Prohibition of Forced and Child Labour

POLYSTYLEX does not use or tolerate any form of forced, compulsory, or slave labour.

The Company does not use child labour. Employment is permitted only for persons who have reached the minimum working age established by applicable law and ILO Convention No. 138.

POLYSTYLEX expects its Partners to comply with these principles and to ensure their implementation within their own operations.

2. Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining

POLYSTYLEX respects the right of workers to freedom of association and to participate in collective bargaining in accordance with applicable law.

Partners must not interfere with the lawful exercise of these rights.

3. Non-Discrimination and Respectful Treatment

POLYSTYLEX does not tolerate discrimination based on gender, age, race, nationality, language, religion, political opinion, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or any other status.

Any form of violence, harassment, threats, or degrading treatment is prohibited.

4. Wages and Working Hours

POLYSTYLEX ensures fair and timely compensation not lower than the statutory minimum and compliance with applicable requirements regarding working hours, rest, and leave.

Partners are expected to comply with applicable labour laws and international standards in these areas.

II. HEALTH AND SAFETY

POLYSTYLEX provides safe and healthy working conditions and considers the protection of life and health a top priority.

Partners are expected to:

  • comply with occupational health and safety requirements;
  • prevent workplace accidents and occupational risks;
  • provide training and appropriate personal protective equipment.

III. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

POLYSTYLEX seeks to minimise the environmental impact of its activities and to use natural resources responsibly.

Partners are expected to:

  • comply with environmental laws and regulations;
  • prevent environmental pollution;
  • manage waste and hazardous substances responsibly;
  • strive to improve energy efficiency and reduce resource consumption.

IV. BUSINESS ETHICS

1. Integrity and Fair Dealing

All business relationships must be conducted with honesty, transparency, and mutual respect.

2. Conflicts of Interest

Partners must avoid situations in which personal or commercial interests conflict with the interests of POLYSTYLEX and must promptly disclose any such situations.

3. Anti-Corruption

POLYSTYLEX applies a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption.

Offering, giving, requesting, or accepting bribes, improper payments, or any other undue advantages is strictly prohibited.

4. Confidentiality and Data Protection

Partners must protect confidential and proprietary information obtained in the course of cooperation and comply with applicable data protection laws.

V. COMPLIANCE AND MONITORING

Partners must comply with all applicable national and international laws.

POLYSTYLEX reserves the right to request confirmation of compliance with this Code and, in the event of material violations, to review or terminate business relationships.

VI. FINAL PROVISIONS

This Code of Ethics reflects the values of POLYSTYLEX and forms an integral part of the Company’s approach to responsible and sustainable business.

Cooperation with POLYSTYLEX implies acceptance of these principles and a commitment to make reasonable efforts to comply with them.
